Rylan is entering his 3rd year in Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology at College of Medicine. His project involves screening antimicrobial peptides against different classes of bacteria.
In his spare time, he enjoys singing and participating in broadway plays.

ALI RIZVI
Summer student
Ali is entering his 2nd year in Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology. He is working along with Radwa in understanding the kinetics of Bile salt hydrolase. He enjoys programming and is also involved in protein modelling using autofold4.

KOA PLANEDIN
Summer student
Koa is co-supervised by Dr Ruzzini and Dr. Jelinski Lab. She is working alongside Daniel on BRD pathogens and AMR in beef feedlots.

IRYNA
Project student
Iryna has joined Ruzzini lab as a project student and is working on understanding the mechanism of action of leaderless bacteriocins from S. aureus.
